Martin Luther King, Jr.

US Civil Rights Leader
(1929-1968)

“And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism. The antisemite rejoices at any opportunity to vent his malice. The times have made it unpopular, in the West, to proclaim openly a hatred of the Jews. This being the case, the antisemite must constantly seek new forms and forums for his poison. How he must revel in the new masquerade! He does not hate the Jews, he is just 'anti-Zionist'!”

A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.

A man who won't die for something is not fit to live.

A nation or civilization that continues to produce soft-minded men purchases its own spiritual death on the installment plan.

All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.

A right delayed is a right denied.

At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love.

The time is ALWAYS right to do what is right.

Injustice ANYWHERE is a threat to justice EVERYWHERE.

We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."

{How can ALL those "liberals" who supposedly marched with King have forgotten so much of what he believed; stood for; and SAID???????}

Mary Harris (Mother) Jones

American labor agitator
(1830-1930)

I am not afraid of the pen, or the scaffold, or the sword. I will tell the truth wherever I please. {What is it the younger generation says? "You go, girl?" !!}

Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living.

My address is like my shoes. It travels with me. I abide where there is a fight against wrong.

Sit down and read. Educate yourself for the coming conflicts. {Oh NO, this means turning the stupid boob tube off......}

I asked a man in prison once how he happened to be there and he said he had stolen a pair of shoes. I told him if he had stolen a railroad he would be a United States Senator. {There has ALWAYS been two sets of "laws" in this country. If you're poor AND a minority, you don't have a chance in hades to be judged by that other set of laws......}

Quotes of the Infamous

Adolph Hitler
German dictator
(1889-1945)

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think. (The Sh-eeple syndrome)

Thus inwardly armed with confidence in God {Delusional too.....wonder how he reconciled the fact that Jesus IS Jewish????} and the unshakable stupidity of the voting citizenry, the politicians can begin the fight for the 'remaking' of the Reich as they call it.

I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.

Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it. {Sound familiar? It is being practiced today on Americans.....}

This year will go down in history for the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future. {Right to bear arms needs to be protected.....or you are at the mercy of whatever entity is in power.}

This human world of ours would be inconceivable without the practical existence of a religious belief. {Too bad he didn't have any.....well, of the right kind....I'm sure satan was pleased with Hitler's progress/worship.}

I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. {The Lord's Chosen People murdered just as his Jewish son was murdered.....even the Judas's have their place....}

Johann S. Bach

German composer and organist
(1685-1750)

The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.

I have always kept one end in view, namely, with all good will to conduct a well-regulated church music to the honor of God.

Music is an agreeable harmony for the honor of God and the permissible delights of the soul.

Where there is devotional music, God is always at hand with His gracious presence.

Germany~~

A nation who gave us musicians that were inspired.

Bach
Beethoven
Brahms
Handel
Pachelbel
{Just to name a few of MY favorites!}

A nation that nurtured Martin Luther who started the Protestant Reformation by nailing the 95 theses on a church door.

A nation that shared the tradition of the Christmas tree.....

....and who gave us one of the most memorable Christmas hymns, "Silent Night, Holy Night".

How then, could a Christian people allow Nazis among their midst? To allow them to come to power? To allow them to commit the atrocities that were committed?

"We didn't know"......is a collective lie~~that needs to be renounced. It would have been better to go to death speaking out against evil than to live by remaining silent then. It would be better to admit the mistake of not speaking out than to continue the lie of denial now.

Today, in nations around the world, there are persecutions of Christians, and the world remains silent once again.
Voice of the Martyrs

This is why EVIL appears to be triumphing. But it is a fleeting triumph. The battles may be won......but the war is already lost.

Lord Oliver Cromwell

English Lord Protector
(1599-1658)

What is all our histories, but God showing himself, shaking and trampling on everything that He has not planted.

Subtlety may deceive you; integrity never will.

William Shakespeare

English writer
(1564-1616)

{Could this explain our "discontent"? Wishing inappropriately for things......?}

At Christmas I no more desire a rose Than wish a snow in May's new-fangled mirth; But like of each thing that in season grows.

For my Father...

who served 32 years in the United States Air Force and flew for over 2 decades....

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Thomas Jefferson

A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means.

A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine. {Which is why we were started as a REPUBLIC!}

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.

All the world would be Christian if they were taught the pure Gospel of Christ!

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.

Jane Goodall

English ethologist
(1934- )

The greatest danger to our future is apathy.

If you really want something, and really work hard, and take advantage of opportunities, and never give up, you will find a way. {Perserverance and determination will take you far in life.}

We can't leave people in abject poverty, so we need to raise the standard of living for 80% of the world's people, while bringing it down considerably for the 20% who are destroying our natural resources. {And our way of life...}

Lasting change is a series of compromises. And compromise is all right, as long your values don't change.

Edward Everett

American educator
(1794-1865)

All the distinctive features and superiority of our republican institutions are derived from the teachings of Scripture.

Education is a better safeguard of liberty than a standing army. {Well, it USE to be anyway.....now? We "taught" Americans that their nation is a democracy when in fact it WAS a Republic. There is a big difference between the two.....and a democracy is NOT what you want. The education "system" is broken. Throwing more money at it and developing more programs is not going to fix it either. Our children are graduating illiterate with no idea on how to defend their freedoms or even what freedoms need to be defended.}

I am only one, But still I am one. I cannot do everything, But still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. {Therefore, I blog!}
